As active and/or prior first responders, our dedication to providing more rapid, efficient, and sustainable mental health resources to those experiencing the repeated trauma of these professions is unparalleled.
Here at The Take My Hand Foundation, we don't just talk about mental health, we live it!
It is a part of who we are.
The lack of resources, severe shortage of mental health professionals, and the negative stigma that is still surrounding mental health in general is overwhelming.
It leaves our first responders and healthcare professionals vulnerable, alone, and isolated.
We are here to fill that void
As an independent nonprofit organization, our allegiance is to you, the first responder or healthcare professional--The person who is enduring repeated, daily trauma, NOT your department or agency.
We ARE your safe place and we ARE always available to you!
